Tenacious plant
grows to 4 feet high with a straight stem, like the wild
sage. Its leaves are large, downy, oblong, and grow
opposite on small stems. Flower is pink, violet, lilac, or
blue; blossoms are whorls that grow from terminal recemes.
Flowers from May to September. |

asthma, coughing, dysmenorrheal, exhaustion, gas, labor
pains, sore throat, stress. Colic,
cramp, dyspepsia, flatulence, general tonic, diabetes may
help cholesterol and blood sugar levels. Hemorrhoids,
varicose veins, hypertension. Nervous exhaustion,
depression, fear, paranoia, panic states, aphrodisiac, lack
of concentration, migraine headaches, frigidity, impotence,
stress related disorders, mid-life crisis. |

Cautions:
Avoid while
drinking alcohol and while driving due to a narcotic effect.
Non-toxic, non-irritant, non-sensitizing. Should be avoided
if you are pregnant. Do not over-use as it can cause
headaches. Do not use if history of low blood pressure.
Avoid with history of estrogen-dependent cancer. |
