The name
cinnamon is derived from the Malay "kayu manis", meaning
"sweet wood". Cinnamon has a soft sweet aroma and is
derived from the bark of the plant. Cinnamon leaf essential
oils are distilled from the leaves and twigs of the plant.
A strong antiseptic cinnamon has a cleansing effect and also
warms and stimulates the skin. Cinnamon leaf EO is not to
be confused with the skin irritating cinnamon bark EO. |

colds, flu, digestive and menstrual problems, rheumatism,
kidney troubles, and as a general stimulant. |

Blends Well With: |
Clove, Ylang
Ylang, Orange, Mandarin, Lemon, Grapefruit, Benzoin,
Frankincense, Geranium, Lemongrass, Marjoram and Patchouli. |

Cautions:
Cinnamon needs
to be well diluted in a base oil before application. Do
not use undiluted on the skin as it could cause irritation.
Not to be used in pregnancy or in children under 18.
