Revered by ancient civilizations, particularly in the Middle East.
The Romans hailed it as an aphrodisiac! The Greek recognize its
calmative influence on the digestive tract. In India the seeds are
chewed to sweeten the breath. Having several uses over the past two

primary use. It is closely related to caraway, dill and fennel. |
